Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Child Care Teacher or Assistant Teacher to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to positively impact children's development in a nurturing and educational environment. We are looking for caring and passionate individuals willing to make a difference in children's lives. Experience is helpful but not necessary. The position involves creating engaging learning experiences, supporting children's social and emotional growth, and fostering a safe and inclusive classroom setting.

We do not have to work Holidays or nights and weekends
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and behavioral management strategies
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and bathroom breaks
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to child development
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings, or similar environments is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development practices and behavior management techniques
- Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management strategies
- Familiarity with working with children with disabilities or special needs such as autism or other developmental delays is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, or students in early childhood education programs is highly desirable
- Background in special education or experience working with children requiring additional behavioral support will be considered a plus

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
