Requirements
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school recognized by the AOTA
New York State licensure in Occupational Therapy
About the Role:
As an Early Intervention Occupational Therapist (OT), you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, family-centered early intervention services to children from birth to three years old. You will conduct initial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement occupational therapy interventions in the child's natural environment. Your expertise will help children develop the skills they need to thrive, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.
Compensation
$130 - $210 per evaluation
$52 - $73 per hour services
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments and periodic reassessments to determine a child's eligibility for early intervention services
Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the child's family and other team members
Provide occupational therapy interventions in the child's natural environment, including home, daycare, or preschool settings
Establish and maintain relationships with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to service delivery
Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive treatment plans
Stay current with best practices, research, and industry developments in early intervention occupational therapy
