ob Title: Children’s Party and Event Team Member
We are hiring team members for a children’s party and event company serving Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with children, supporting event activities, and maintaining a professional and dependable standard of service. This post is for someone to get into our bunny mascot costume or be a handler for the bunny mascot, but we have events throughout the year.
Schedule Requirement
Applicants must be available to work the Easter weekend schedule, including Easter Sunday, as well as other weekend shifts and occasional weekday assignments based on business needs. Requests for legally required accommodations will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate children’s party activities, including games, arts and crafts, and concession-style stations such as cotton candy
- Set up, break down, transport, and organize event materials and supplies
- Pick up supplies from our Fort Lauderdale office during weekday business hours when needed and bring them to weekend events
- Interact professionally and positively with children, parents, and guests
- Follow event instructions, safety procedures, and company standards
- On some assignments, wear holiday mascot costumes, including full-head costumes such as the Easter Bunny. THIS IS WHAT WE NEED THIS WEEKEND!
Qualifications
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and professional communication
- Comfortable working in child-focused, high-energy event environments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and willingness to travel throughout the service area, including Fort Lauderdale, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Jupiter, Wellington, and Homestead as needed
- Availability for weekends and occasional weekdays
- English fluency required; Spanish-English bilingual skills are a plus due to the needs of our client base, but not required
Compensation
Starting pay for Easter Weekend is $75-$100 per event, plus tips. Events typically last between 1 and 3 hours.
Location and Travel
This position supports events across South Florida. Proximity to our Fort Lauderdale office is helpful because some assignments require weekday supply pickup, but all qualified applicants will be considered.
