Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, applying your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to enhance their quality of life. You will collaborate with families and other professionals to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in behavior analysis and intervention strategies.
- Support clients in achieving personal goals through positive reinforcement techniques.
- Stay current with advancements in the field of behavior analysis and special education.
Experience
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Strong background in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
- Familiarity with special education practices and regulations.
- Knowledge of medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Experience in patient assessment techniques within a behavioral health context is preferred.
