Job Description
The Call Center Sales Representative is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales calls for assigned storage properties. This role focuses on converting inquiries into rentals, scheduling customer appointments, and providing excellent customer service to prospective tenants. Each representative will oversee approximately 15 assigned properties, serving as the first point of contact for new customers while ensuring calls are routed appropriately when unavailable.
Employee Schedule
Our call center hours of operation are Mondays through Fridays from 8 AM to 5 PM, including a one-hour lunch break, and closed on weekends and major holidays. We are very flexible with our schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
Answering Inbound Sales Calls
- Answer a high volume of inbound calls and provide friendly, professional assistance to potential and existing customers.
- Assess customer storage needs and recommend appropriate unit sizes, features, and packing supplies.
- Convert inquiries into rentals by completing leases over the phone or scheduling appointments for on-site rentals.
Conducting Outbound Follow-Up Calls
- Make outbound follow-up calls to prospective tenants who have inquired about storage units.
- Follow up with inquiries and leads to schedule appointments or close rentals.
- Track and document all lead interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes.
Customer Engagement
- Build rapport with prospective tenants, identify storage needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service.
- Provide accurate and consistent information regarding promotions, rental terms, and property policies.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Work closely with Property Managers, District Supervisors, and Operations Manager to ensure smooth communication between the call center and individual storage locations.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, appointments, and rentals in the system.
- Provide feedback on lead quality, customer objections, and market trends to help improve company sales strategies.
- Following the sales scripts while also being adaptable to the customer while on the call.
- Memorizing key facts of each property that is within the portfolio. Training will be provided by visiting the properties that are within the portfolio.

Qualifications
