GENERAL MANAGER
Reports to- Director of Operations
ALKO Hotels and the Fairfield by Marriott are currently hiring for a General Manager. MARRIOTT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Overall Responsibilities:
As General Manager you’ll be responsible for the overall success (financial, guest experience, team member and quality standards) of this 81-room hotel, using strong leadership skills to optimize guest and associate experience and financial returns.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Motivate, coach / mentor, and train team members, set goals and hold team members accountable.
- Provide feedback, rewards, and recognition to team members.
- Oversee HR related actions in accordance with rules and policies. .
- Effectively manage and control all operational expenses including labor, overtime, supplies etc.
- Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals.
- Serve and build relationships with guests.
- Manage the hotel’s online reputation on review sites.
- Ensure bank deposits are completed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Marriott experience
- High school diploma or higher-level education
- 5 years hotel experience, with preferably 3 years of management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be a strong leader, self-motivator, team builder and willing to work 50 hours per week with flexibility (minimum 5 days per week).
- Must speak fluent English (other languages preferred)
- Must be available 24/7 to assist your team on property when needed.
