What You’ll Do as the Commercial Account Manager
- Provide technical support to Sales Executives and Account Executives by analyzing client insurance needs and assisting with new and renewal business.
- Prepare and submit insurance applications to carriers, obtain quotations, and coordinate policy binding.
- Issue and process binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, renewals, and other policy documents, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare proposals, insurance summaries, schedules, and billing documentation while maintaining accurate client records in Applied EPIC.
- Respond promptly to client requests via phone and email, process policy changes, cancellations, audits, and billing inquiries, and assist with claims reporting and follow-up.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance products, carrier guidelines, industry regulations, and emerging trends.
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of insurance industry experience, preferably with a retail insurance brokerage.
- Valid Property & Casualty Broker-Agent license required.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, and carrier markets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
