Job Responsibilities
- Process payments, invoices, and vouchers in accordance with established procedures.
- Check documents for completeness, accuracy, and obvious errors.
- Add appropriate standard coding and attachments to processed documents.
- Compile simple summaries and reports related to documents processed.
- Extract and locate information from files and records as needed.
- Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) either manually or using a calculator.
- Assist more senior clerks with tasks under close supervision.
- Maintain organized records and ensure data integrity in document processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years experience
- Some clerical or administrative experience preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of clerical procedures.
- Good numeric skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in basic arithmetic.
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision on standard tasks.
- Familiarity with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic data entry systems is a plus.
