Alkalinea is hiring a Safety Lead to support and oversee safety programs at our facility in Joaquin, Texas. This role is responsible for compliance, training, audits, and promoting a strong safety culture across all departments.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily safety activities and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Deliver safety training (PPE, procedures, emergency response).
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Work closely with operations leadership to improve safety performance.
- Promote employee engagement and a proactive safety culture.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in safety, EHS, or industrial operations.
- Strong understanding of OSHA requirements.
- OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or related certifications preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to train and work with teams at all levels.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
