Staff Accountant

Job Summary:

ALIYA Healthcare Consulting is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team! As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of our organization by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing audit and compliance-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts, ledgers, and other financial records
• Perform audit and compliance-related tasks, including preparing and submitting financial reports to regulatory agencies
• Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address financial issues and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards

Requirements:

• Associates degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or in a related role
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software, including financial analysis and reporting tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
