At ALIYA Healthcare Consulting, we're dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and personalized attention to our residents. As a Diet Tech, you'll play a critical role in supporting our residents' nutritional needs and promoting overall wellness. We're seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Diet Tech to join our team. As a Diet Tech, you'll work closely with our dietitians and other healthcare professionals to prepare and serve healthy, appealing meals to our residents. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and patient-centered approach will help ensure our residents receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in meal planning, preparation, and serving to ensure residents receive a balanced and appetizing diet
• Maintain accurate records of food consumption, special dietary needs, and resident preferences
• Assist with inventory management, food ordering, and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with the dietitian and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff members
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen and dining areas
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance our care services

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in nutrition or related field a plus
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Strong communication and organizational skills
