JOB TITLE:  Mental Health Therapist

STATUS:  Regular Full-Time

We are looking to add a Therapist to our team.  If you have a perceptive passion to promote, restore and protect the mental health and well-being of individuals and their families, and an innate learning desire that resonates our core values, we would like to meet you.  Ultimately, as a licensed Therapist in a collaborative team environment, you will play an important role as a trusted behavioral healthcare advocate, providing individualized assessment and counseling services that support treatment, recovery, resiliency, and client progress.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Job Description Available Upon Demand)

• Implements and supports the practice mission and strategic vision within their respective departments.
• Handles confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity and security policies.
• Proven competency conducting own Initial Diagnostic Interviews prior to starting therapeutic services.
• Provides individual counseling services using a variety of treatment modalities.
• Collaborates with other staff and treatment team to develop treatment plans.
• Maintains patient case load and appropriate client records.
• Collaborates with relevant agencies and family as needed.
• Provides knowledge of community resources and makes appropriate referrals as needed.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and function under stressful or emergent situations.
• Demonstrates adaptability to changing work demands in terms of priorities that necessitate personal initiative.
• Demonstrates excellent active listening skills, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively share knowledge with Chief Medical Officer, medical staff, patients, and their families.
• Demonstrates competence in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities that service to maintain, develop, or increase knowledge, skills, and professional performance.
• Other clinical or administrative duties as assigned to meet practice needs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree In Counseling or Social Work Required | Current Nebraska LIMHP, LMHP, LICSW or Similar License (State Registry Good Standing) Required | Knowledge of Principles Methods & Procedures For Diagnosis & Treatment of Mental Health | Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred or In Process | Basic Knowledge In Billing Procedures & MH Codes Preferred | Familiar with EMR & PM Systems | Familiar with Microsoft Platforms | Proficient Keyboarding Speed        

EXPERIENCE:  Two years high-volume clinic setting preferred
