Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and seasoned Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health practice. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral therapy services to adults and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals with trauma-related conditions such as PTSD, addiction issues, depression and anxiety. You will conduct clinical assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions within a multidisciplinary setting. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment strategies.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and EMDR.
- Implement motivational interviewing techniques to foster engagement and promote positive behavioral change.
- Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and emergency response protocols.
- Document all clinical encounters accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality.
- Collaborate with medical professionals on medication management plans involving psychopharmacology when appropriate.
- Coordinate case management activities including service planning, resource linkage, and follow-up care for clients with complex needs.
- Engage in continuous professional development by staying current on medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding standards, and emerging best practices in mental health treatment.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as an LSW or LCSW in the state of practice; additional certifications in addiction counseling or pediatric mental health are a plus.
- Proven experience working in the clinical behavioral health field. Clinical and life experience a must.
- Demonstrated proficiency in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and EMDR.
- Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection purposes; knowledge of medical records management is essential.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and medical terminology relevant to mental health care.
- Experience providing crisis management and crisis intervention services effectively under pressure.

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
