Our client, a top-tier VC firm, is searching for an energetic, friendly, and reliable Front Desk Coordinator to be the welcoming face in their mid-peninsula office. This person will manage daily office operations, provide exceptional customer service to guests and internal staff, and ensure everything runs smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others, and takes pride in creating a polished, professional atmosphere. The role is in-office, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm on the peninsula.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and maintain a polished reception area
- Coordinate mail, packages, and deliveries between two office buildings
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings and conference rooms
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and key external contacts
- Support special events, team gatherings, and office projects
- Handle expense reports and light bookkeeping in Concur
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information and legal documents
- Partner closely with the Office Manager and administrative team
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an office or corporate setting
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience
- 2 years of college
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Positive, cheerful attitude and professional demeanor
- Adaptable and able to shift priorities in a dynamic environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Collaborative and eager to learn
