Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to join our dynamic team in Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies, coupled with hands-on experience in M&A processes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze complex business scenarios, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough business analysis to identify and document requirements for M&A projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and use cases.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
  • Analyze data and market trends to support decision-making in M&A initiatives.
  • Assist in the due diligence process by evaluating financial, operational, and strategic aspects of potential acquisitions.
  • Support the integration planning and execution of acquired businesses.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in M&A projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape in M&A.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, with a focus on M&A.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and financial principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
