TIG/MIG Metal Fabrication Technician

You know how a crisp bead and tight tolerance can make or break a part. If you take pride in clean, consistent welds on thin‑gauge materials and like keeping production flowing, this role is for you.

• Perform precision TIG welding; apply MIG knowledge when required.
• Read blueprints/technical docs and hold specified tolerances.
• Meet time standards and delivery schedules using the E2 management system.
• Self‑inspect work and verify it meets quality requirements before final inspection.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper fluid levels.
• Return fixtures and tooling at job completion; keep your area orderly.
• Identify setup‑reduction and Lean/6S opportunities; communicate them to the appropriate 6S team lead.
• Resolve routine manufacturing issues; escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with teammates and supervisors to keep workflow smooth.
• Always operate safely.

• On‑time job completion and customer delivery adherence
• Consistent quality to spec across all assigned processes
• Safe work habits and practices

• Proven ability to weld thin‑gauge materials with strong penetration and clean appearance
• Proficient TIG skills; working MIG knowledge
• Ability to operate common shop tools, including hand tools and rolls
• Blueprint reading and technical comprehension aligned to machine operation
• Basic math and computer literacy; experience with inspection gages
• Organized, self‑starting, able to prioritize and multitask
• Effective communicator and solid team contributor
• Continuous improvement mindset—challenge and improve processes

• 5 years in a manufacturing environment
• Valid Driver’s License
