Manufacturing Cost & Quotations Analyst

You start the morning reviewing RFQs, studying prints, and deciding what we should manufacture in-house versus what to source from trusted vendors. You build accurate cycle times, material and routing assumptions, and price to target margins—capturing it all in the E2 management system. Midday brings calls with customers to clarify specs and delivery windows. In the afternoon, you audit recently closed jobs to reconcile estimates against actuals, fine-tune time standards, and strengthen profitability. Throughout, you support in-house sales with timely quotes and clear, confidence-inspiring communication—all while working safely.

• Develop precise quotes for parts we can produce in our facility.
• Price work to meet established company profit objectives.
• Evaluate and select qualified outside vendors when outsourcing is appropriate.
• Partner directly with customers to gather complete, accurate technical and delivery information.
• Review completed jobs for accuracy, time adjustments, and profitability improvement.
• Capture and maintain job data, routings, and assumptions in the E2 management system.
• Contribute to in-house sales by responding quickly to quote requests and customer questions.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team.

• Fluency in reading blueprints and technical documentation.
• A continuous improvement mindset—ready to analyze, challenge, and refine processes for efficiency.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Self-starter able to prioritize multiple projects independently.
• Clear, professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Comfort with computers/ERP systems and basic math.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Valid driver’s license.
