Lead a High-Performance Plant
Do you excel at turning strategy into disciplined execution? Are you energized by visible, on-the-floor leadership and measurable outcomes? As our Factory Operations General Manager, you will be accountable for the plant’s total performance—safety, quality, delivery, and cost—by building structure, coaching leaders, and driving continuous improvement.
Your Impact
- Own end-to-end plant performance with daily operating rhythms (tier meetings, KPI reviews, and action tracking).
- Translate company and VP-level objectives into clear direction for production teams.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor to reinforce priorities and resolve issues quickly.
You Will
- Lead and develop the Operations Manager and functional leaders; build bench strength across departments.
- Set expectations and hold leaders accountable for behavior, results, and collaboration.
- Align EPG, MTD, shipping, maintenance, and tool room toward shared outcomes.
- Oversee production flow, scheduling, and resource allocation; remove bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Ensure accurate, on-time shipping and customer satisfaction.
- Advance Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
- Use ERP and KPI data to detect inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Standardize processes to improve consistency and scalability.
- Champion a safety-first culture, compliant with all regulatory requirements.
- Partner with engineering, quality, supply chain, and sales; communicate risks and needs to the VP of Operations; serve as the escalation point.

What You Bring
- 7–10 years of manufacturing leadership with multi-department oversight.
- Experience leading through other leaders (not just direct supervision).
- Knowledge of machining, assembly, and production environments.
- Exposure to maintenance, shipping, and support functions (preferred).
- History of driving accountability and raising plant performance.
- Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement expertise.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and ERP/data analysis capability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience (preferred).
