We are seeking an organized, energetic Barback to join our team at Violetto, our signature fine dining restaurant. Barbacks are essential to maintaining an efficient, clean, and well-stocked bar environment that allows bartenders to deliver outstanding service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Support bartenders by ensuring all supplies are stocked, organized, and available during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas, bar tools, and equipment according to health and safety standards.
• Assist with preparation of garnishes, replenishment of beverages, and restocking of glassware and bar products.
• Remove trash, clean spills, and perform side work duties throughout and after service.
• Engage with guests professionally when appropriate, providing discreet and polished support to the overall service experience.
• Follow all California state and local laws related to alcohol service and food handling.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Previous restaurant or bar support experience preferred; luxury or fine dining experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while maintaining a polished appearance.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds and perform frequent bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
• Must possess (or be able to obtain) a valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
