We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teacher Assistants / Teacher Aides for full-time Early Childhood Education positions in the Chicago area. Essential Job Functions
- Participate in a team approach to planning and implementing classroom activities
- Collaborate with Lead Teachers, teaching staff, family support personnel, and site supervisors to support classroom success
- Assist with implementing the program’s Planned Language Approach to support dual language learners
- Support teachers in guiding children toward achieving individual developmental goals
- Observe and help assess children’s strengths and needs
- Assist with classroom activities while ensuring appropriate child guidance, discipline, and ratios are maintained at all times
- Provide active supervision to ensure children’s safety in the classroom, during transitions, on the playground, and during transportation (if applicable)
- Ensure no child is left unattended or unsupervised
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or better
- Experience in an early childhood setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Additional Requirements
- Must meet all required background screening standards
