What You'll Do
- Assess cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP for security weaknesses and design flaws
- Review IAM configurations, network segmentation strategies, and resource-level policies
- Identify misconfigurations, privilege escalation risks, and insecure architectural patterns
- Produce structured, actionable mitigation guidance that engineering and security teams can act on
- Validate cloud environments against established security frameworks and industry best practices
- Support recurring assessments of evolving cloud environments and deployment patterns
- Translate complex technical findings into clear, well-documented reports for varied audiences
What You Bring
- Deep, hands-on experience in cloud security architecture across one or more major cloud platforms
- Strong command of IAM design, network segmentation, and cloud-native service models
- Proven ability to identify architectural risk and document findings in a structured, professional format
- Comfortable working independently and delivering high-quality output without close supervision
- Experience with multi-cloud environments and cross-platform security design
- Familiarity with zero-trust architecture principles and implementation patterns
- Background in high-compliance environments such as FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, or CISSP
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, substantive engagements
- Work on complex, real-world cloud environments where your expertise makes a measurable difference
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as assessments continue to scale
