- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Develop, solve, and review advanced material science problems with real-world scientific relevance
- Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related domains to design complex, rigorous problem sets
- Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, depth, and logical coherence
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen model performance
- Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and precision across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
- Master's or PhD in Material Science or a closely related field
- Strong expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or adjacent areas
- Comfortable coding in Python or MATLAB for research or applied projects
- Naturally detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to scientific problems
- Clear and precise written communicator — you can explain complex concepts without sacrificing accuracy
- Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in computational materials science or simulation-based research
- Familiarity with AI tools or scientific benchmarking as an end user
- Prior experience reviewing or peer-editing technical scientific content
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based scientific work
- Contribute directly to AI systems that need to reason about the physical world at a research level

Salary : $75 - $90
