- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases
- Assess impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation actions
- Evaluate detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks
- Review and rate AI-generated incident analysis for accuracy and operational relevance
- Provide structured feedback that helps AI systems reason like experienced responders
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
- 2 years of experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations
- Hands-on familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tools
- Skilled at separating meaningful threats from background noise
- Strong analytical mindset with clear written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working with structured feedback formats
- No prior AI experience required — your security expertise is what matters
- Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or purple team exercises
- Familiarity with common frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK or NIST IR
- Background in cloud security operations or endpoint detection and response (EDR)
