- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Design challenging chemistry problems across domains such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, and physical chemistry to test AI reasoning
- Develop clear, rigorous step-by-step solutions that demonstrate sound scientific logic
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, depth of reasoning, and scientific validity
- Identify gaps, errors, or weaknesses in how AI approaches chemistry concepts
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level topics
- Provide structured written feedback to help improve AI model performance
- Pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
- Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic research
- Familiarity with large language models or AI benchmarking
- Background spanning multiple chemistry subdisciplines
