About The Role

- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Design and develop complex, real-world chemistry problems across organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
- Solve and critically review advanced chemistry problems to ensure scientific accuracy and depth
- Apply your domain expertise to challenge and improve the reasoning capabilities of AI models
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts
- Ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of scientific rigor, clarity, and relevance
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Deep expertise in one or more chemistry subfields — organic, inorganic, physical, or computational
- Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian or VASP
- Exceptional written communicator with sharp attention to detail
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently and asynchronously
- Fluent in English
- Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or data quality workflows
- Familiarity with AI tools or scientific benchmarking
- Background spanning multiple chemistry subfields
- Experience writing or reviewing scientific content for technical audiences
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside the world's leading research labs
