What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caribbean Language & Culture Expert position at Alignerr?
Caribbean Language & Culture Expert (AI Training)
About The Role
New York is one of the largest Caribbean diaspora hubs in the world — home to millions of Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Jamaicans, Trinidadians, Haitians, and more. What if your deep knowledge of Caribbean languages, dialects, and culture could directly shape how AI communicates with Caribbean communities — both on the islands and right here in the five boroughs?
We're looking for Caribbean Language & Culture Experts to evaluate and improve AI-generated content — ensuring it captures the authentic voice, rhythm, and cultural nuance that Caribbean people actually recognize as their own. Whether your roots are in the Spanish-speaking Caribbean, the Anglophone islands, or the Francophone and Creole-speaking world, your expertise matters.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just genuine expertise in Caribbean language and culture, and a sharp eye for what sounds real versus what sounds off.
