As an Application Security Analyst, you'll work on realistic, production-grade security scenarios to help AI systems learn how to assess, prioritize, and remediate application risk the way an expert would. - Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Review and analyze real-world application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior
- Classify vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, access control issues, and business logic weaknesses
- Evaluate secure coding practices and assess the quality of remediation strategies
- Create and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI how to accurately assess application risk
- Provide structured, expert-level written analysis that AI systems can learn from
- 2 years of hands-on experience in application, product, or software security
- Solid understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerabilities found in production systems
- Able to distinguish genuine exploitability from theoretical or low-impact risk
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to reason through security problems clearly and systematically
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments
- Experience in penetration testing, secure code review, or bug bounty programs
- Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks or security design patterns
- Background in cloud-native, API-first, or microservices environments
- Prior experience working with AI or data labeling workflows
- Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs
