Ideal Background

• 2–8 years of private equity, mergers & acquisitions, or corporate transactional experience

• Experience representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic buyers, sellers, investors, or management teams

• Experience with mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, platform acquisitions, add-on acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures

• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other transaction documents

• Experience managing due diligence processes and transaction workstreams

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work directly with clients and transaction teams

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Florida bar admission preferred or ability to become admitted
