A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Wilmington office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in working on sophisticated stockholder class actions, derivative litigation, and complex commercial disputes before the Delaware Court of Chancery , one of the nation's premier business courts.

The Role

• Stockholder class action litigation
• Shareholder derivative litigation
• Complex commercial litigation matters
• Representation of corporations and their officers and directors
• Delaware Court of Chancery litigation
• Case strategy, motion practice, and discovery management
• Depositions, hearings, and court appearances
• Direct client interaction and substantive responsibility
• Collaboration with a sophisticated litigation team handling high-profile corporate disputes

Ideal Background

• Approximately 2–6 years of litigation experience
• Experience with complex commercial litigation, corporate disputes, or shareholder litigation preferred
• Experience before the Delaware Court of Chancery is highly desirable
• Experience conducting internal investigations on behalf of special board committees is a plus but not required
• Superior research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Active Delaware bar admission required

Compensation

$235,000 – $390,000 depending on class year and overall experience.
