A premier global law firm is seeking a Financial Markets Associate Attorney to join its Dallas office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders and borrowers in sophisticated leveraged finance, asset-based lending, and other complex financing transactions.

Ideal Background

• 3 years of finance, banking, leveraged finance, or commercial lending experience gained at a large or sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing lenders and borrowers in a broad range of financing transactions

• Significant experience handling leveraged finance transactions, secured lending transactions, and asset-based lending facilities

• Experience with reserve-based lending (RBL) financings is preferred

• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers, and related financing documentation

• Ability to assume substantial responsibility for transaction structuring, drafting, deal management, and closing processes

• Working knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code and secured lending concepts

• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining significant client contact

• Desire for substantial client interaction and hands-on transactional experience

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
