About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a full-time Lead Finance Business Partner to join our expanding Finance Department in Waltham, MA. As the business partner lead for North America’s four regions, the Director will focus on creating strong communication channels and cadence with regional teams across Operations, Marketing, HR, and Sales, supported by two Senior Analysts. This role will emphasize financial analysis, performance improvement, and data-driven decision-making to support regional growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in business partnering and be comfortable managing relationships with multiple teams to deliver actionable insights and enhance financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary financial business partner for regional teams, collaborating closely with Operations, Marketing, HR, Sales, and Data teams.
- Lead internal month-end reporting for HQ, U.S. management, and regional business partners.
- Drive the cadence of communication and reporting for the regions, ensuring alignment across all key functions.
- Oversee the development of scorecards, clinic-level reporting, lab profitability analysis, and productivity metrics.
- Analyze and report on financial performance, providing timely insights and recommendations to improve regional performance.
- Partner with data teams to deliver actionable, real-time data to support decision-making in the regions.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for North America, establishing robust assumptions, workflows, and financial inputs for each region.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements for management review.
- Conduct detailed P&L analysis, including revenue trends, EBITDA variance analysis, personnel costs, and ROI by region.
- Act as the main point of contact with HQ for financial data requests and ad hoc analytics.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization, becoming a key financial partner to the regional teams.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, providing guidance, development, and support to the Senior Analysts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 7 years of progressive FP&A experience, with a focus on business partnering and managing relationships with regional teams.
- Experience working with full P&L responsibility.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ideal candidates will have experience in using Data visualization tools (PowerBI or Tableau), ERP (Business Central) and reporting systems (OneStream).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and align cross-functional teams.
- Experience in regional or market finance roles, with a focus on performance improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
