DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport is looking to hire Guest Service Representative who is willing to cross train for Bellperson/Shuttle Driver, Night Audit.
Our Guest Service Department is at the forefront of the hotel and provides the first impression to each guest who walks through our doors. We are looking for representatives who are welcoming and have a positive demeanor. Our GSRs are friendly, approachable and helpful; they help ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay.
Location: 7051 S. Tucson Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85756
Wage: prevailing minimum wage
Hilton experience will be an advantage.
Shifts will vary depending on scheduling needs.
Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
- Welcome and check-in guests upon arrival, assign rooms; check-out guests and collect form of payment.
- Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, and rates
- Manage online and phone reservations.
- Respond to clients’ complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate with our housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure all rooms are clean and ready to Hilton standards to accommodate guests’ needs.
- Communicate helpful and necessary information of the day to the next shift.
Skills include but not limited to:
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience with hotel reservations software helpful but not required; first preference for those who have worked with the Hilton PEP system
- Positive demeanor
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work with a wide variety of people, both guests and co-workers
- Must be highly detail orientated
