Job Summary: We are seeking a part-time Dental Assistant with EFDA certification to work weekends as part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials to support patient care.
- Welcome, comfort, seat, and drape patients to ensure a positive experience.
- Pour, trim, and polish study casts, and fabricate aesthetically pleasing temporary restorations.
- Provide information and education to patients by answering questions and requests.
- Clean and polish removable appliances.
- Anticipate the doctor's needs during set-ups, suction, and instrument passing.
- Document dental care services through thorough charting in patient records.
- Assist with intraoral photography.
- Maintain OSHA compliance by sterilizing instruments, dental equipment, and treatment rooms.
- Contribute to a positive team environment with an engaging disposition.
Requirements:
- You are a DA looking to join a great team with the following qualifications:
- Active CPR Certification
- EFDA Certification
- Availability to work practice hours as needed, Monday through Thursday.
