Responsibilities
- Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions using medical imaging and dental terminology, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document patient interactions accurately and efficiently.
- Execute specialized procedures like dental implants, orthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions while fostering a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry setups to optimize workflow and enhance patient care quality.
Requirements
- Valid state dental license to practice as an Associate Dentist.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, medical documentation, and client communication.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques.
- Skills in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other procedures
