The Sr. Channel Operations Manager, NA will be responsible for the strategic development and direction of Commercial Programs with Invisalign and iTero business with a focus on North America. Establish the strategic vision to meet sales objectives and strengthen customer relationships, reputation, and impact of Align Technology across the North America Sales team and Orthodontic/Dentist Community. This role will work to optimize processes, create efficiencies to commercial operations and escalation procedures by planning and aligning with cross-functional team members to drive results. The individual will assess training needs to drive service delivery improvements and create a value-added experience for customers/clients. Customer engagement and experience will be in the forefront in driving vision and purpose to deliver superior sales objectives and strengthen customer relationships, reputation, and impact of Align Technology across the North America Commercial team and Orthodontic/Dental community.
Role expectations
If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.
For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.
Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.

Role expectations
- Partner directly with field senior leadership to identify needs and then partner cross-functionally with Ops, Marketing, Finance, etc. on delivering solutions.
- Oversee sales initiatives and projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or other department members. Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints
- Define and drive strategic initiatives between area and key cross-functional stakeholders centered around customer experience and operational execution
- Facilitate the implementation of corporate programs by enhancing the connection between the area field sales teams across business/channel lines
- Analyze data, area operations and strategies, etc. to proactively identify risk and implement solutions
- Develop and lead sales meetings, including coordinating key cross-functional stakeholders
- Leads and inspires teams by motivating and engaging them to achieve goals
- Partners with Field Sales and additional internal company resources to optimize the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of Align products
- Identifies and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and optimize sales performance
- Focuses on building and improving process efficiencies within team
- Performs ongoing analysis of customer engagement and takes the necessary measures to increase product usage and adoption
- Initiates and maintains effective communication with clients, sales executives and other sales support team members
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience such as: sales, sales management, sales training, program initiation and implementation (dental or medical device experience preferred)
- Track record of coaching/developing mid-level management and individual contributors
- Strong analytical skills and thrive in a detail-oriented environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to diverse customer audiences
- Excellent capabilities to interface effectively with all customer types
- Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting in a rapidly changing environment
- Excels at organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks/ projects
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sales Force
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

- Paid vacation of up to 17 days during the first full year of employment (currently accrued at the rate of 5.24 hours each pay-period), which carries over to a maximum cap of 30 days. Annual paid vacation time accrual increases based on tenure. Both exempt and non-exempt employees who work 32 hours or more per week receive prorated vacation accrual based on their regularly scheduled work hours and tenure.
- Sick time is accrued throughout the year at the rate of one hour for every thirty worked. Employees can carry over unused sick leave each year, up to a maximum balance of 80 hours.
- 11 Company-designated paid holidays throughout the year.
- If employed for at least 12 consecutive months, Align will grant up to 6 weeks of paid Parental Leave. If employed for less than 12 consecutive months, Align will grant up to 4 weeks of paid Parental Leave. All parental leave must be completed within one year of the birth or placement of the child. Parental leave is in addition to any state and/or local parental leave benefits. Three days of paid bereavement leave. In some cases, due to travel the amount of paid leave may be extended to 5 paid days off. To the extent applicable state or local law offers more generous benefits, Align complies with any such law.
- Non-exempt employees will receive full pay for up to 10 days of jury duty. Exempt employees will receive their full salary during any week they serve and perform any work. Other insurance such as legal, critical illness, voluntary accident, long-term care, auto, home and pet insurance are available for purchase.
