Location: North Hudson, WI
Join our compassionate team at Align Residential Services as a Live-In Caregiver. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and providing high-quality, individualized care in a small, home-like setting.
This is a live-in position requiring you to reside at the home for five consecutive days each week. During your scheduled workdays, you are expected to remain on-site and be available to support residents as needed, including providing asleep overnight supervision. Room and board are provided at no cost during your scheduled shifts.
Schedule:
- 5 consecutive days on-site each week (live-in required)
- 2 consecutive days off each week
- Must remain at home throughout scheduled workdays except when transporting residents, attending appointments, running approved resident errands, or during pre-approved personal time.
- Asleep overnight supervision required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Administer and document medications according to care plans and state regulations.
- Monitor residents' health, behavior, and overall well-being, reporting any significant changes promptly.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks based on residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide transportation to appointments, community activities, and other approved outings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote independence and quality of life.
- Follow individualized care plans and document services provided.
- Communicate professionally with families, healthcare providers, and the management team.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to live on-site during scheduled 5-day workweeks (required).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable, insured personal vehicle.
- Ability to provide asleep overnight supervision.
- Experience working in an Adult Family Home (AFH), group home, assisted living, or a similar caregiving setting preferred.
- Medication administration experience preferred (training provided).
- Knowledge of resident rights, HIPAA, and person-centered care.
- Ability to safely assist with mobility, transfers, and other physical caregiving tasks.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Ability to support individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or behavioral challenges.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
Compensation & Benefits
- $40,000–$45,000 annually, depending on experience.
