Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Stocker to join our team in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory is well-organized, stocked, and readily available for our pharmacy staff. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage inventory including receiving inventory and updating spreadsheet records.
- Operate hand trucks for loading and unloading products. Receiving products daily
- Move products up one flight of steps (elevator available) to stock 2nd story pharmacy from 1st story storage area.
- Ensure proper stocking of shelves, including devising an organizational system
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to move products throughout the storage facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries related to product availability.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Skills
- Proven experience in inventory management and control within a warehouse setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate stocking and inventory tracking.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
- Previous experience in pharmacy or hospital stock rooms is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members alike.
