The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property maintenance, with a focus on multi-family residential properties. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and functionality of the properties, addressing maintenance issues promptly, and contributing to the overall satisfaction of residents.
This position is MOBILE. Technician will travel to several properties.

Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC system checks, and appliance maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including evenings and weekends.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues such as leaks, power outages, and heating/cooling problems.
- Maintain the exterior appearance of the property, including landscaping,and ensuring common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Monitor and address issues related to sidewalks, parking lots, and outdoor amenities.
- Communicate effectively with residents to understand and address maintenance requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure resident satisfaction with maintenance services.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Report any major maintenance needs or safety concerns to the property manager.
- Collaborate with property management to prioritize maintenance tasks and allocate resources efficiently.
- Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Implement and follow proper safety procedures during repairs and maintenance work.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a multi-family residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- HVAC and CPO certifications preferred.
