- Support the Superintendent in leading the field and upholding the standard of work for all team members and trade partners
- Assist with full-time oversight of assigned project with a focus on schedule, site requirements, safety, quality, production tracking, and site cleanliness
- Help organize and resolve critical issues and tasks daily through clear communication
- Assist in developing and updating construction schedules, monitoring logic relationships, and tracking new activities and impacts
- Participate in and support weekly coordination meetings with trade foremen
- Maintain detailed daily logs and photo logs of all project activities
- Support the jobsite safety program and help hold all project participants accountable to rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist in coordinating jobsite logistics and maintaining relationships with neighboring occupants
- Support the coordination and management of inspections required by jurisdictional authority to achieve project occupancy milestones
- Contribute to delivering projects with a high standard of quality
- Building Fundamentals - has foundational experience in commercial construction means and methods. Possesses growing construction knowledge and plan reading abilities
- Planning & Scheduling - developing ability to sequence and coordinate work to achieve project milestones
- Quality Control - working understanding of plans, specifications, and code to ensure high quality results
- Safety - is competent and knowledgeable of major construction hazards through past training and experience. Has the ability to identify hazardous conditions and unsafe acts or practices, and supports effective solutions to remedy construction hazards.
- A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in Commercial Construction, with at least 1 year in a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent capacity
- Experience in Commercial Construction preferred, with exposure to Health Care (OSHPD), Life Sciences, Higher Education, or Office Improvements a plus
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, PM Software (Procore), and scheduling software (Microsoft Project)
- Interpersonal Skills - ability to engage with clients, internal team members, and trade contractors in a constructive, productive way to overcome obstacles and achieve results
