Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on data collection and analysis.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients in various settings, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Train and supervise staff in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay current with research, trends, and best practices in the field of behavior analysis.
- BCBA certification required.
- NC LBA required.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
- Experience in patient care settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with special education principles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
