Alighieri's is a luxury auction house based in Newnan, Georgia. We specialize in high-end jewelry, designer handbags, watches, coins, and antiques. We operate across multiple online auction platforms and are growing our team.
We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to join our small team full-time. This is an entry-level position — no prior auction or luxury goods experience is required. We'll train you on everything you need to know.
Responsibilities
- Photograph auction items using a Canon camera with proper lighting and staging
- Create and manage item listings on auction platforms
- Assist with inventory organization, cataloging, and storage
- Help with packing and shipping sold items
- Support day-to-day auction house operations
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a digital camera (Canon preferred but not required)
- Basic computer skills (desktop, web browsers, data entry)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn about luxury goods, antiques, and the auction industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience selling on eBay, Poshmark, or similar platforms
- Interest in jewelry, fashion, antiques, or collectibles
- Photography experience
Pay: $31,200 - $62,400 per annum
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
