Guest Service Support Expert (Busser/Runner)

## Key Responsibilities

• Clear, collect, and return food and beverage items throughout service
• Keep guest and work areas clean using clean-as-you-go practices
• Set tables according to service standards, including linens, glassware, plates, and flatware
• Pick up trays, clean tables, and help maintain a clean dining area
• Inspect china, glassware, and silverware before use
• Restock supplies and transport needed items to service areas
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, breakdown, and inventory support
• Support guest needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner
• Welcome guests and help maintain a positive dining experience
• Communicate clearly with coworkers, supervisors, and managers
• Support teamwork across front-of-house operations
• Follow company safety, sanitation, appearance, and workplace standards

## Required Qualifications

### Must-Haves

• No prior experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Professional appearance and positive demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the full shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to **25 pounds without assistance** and more with assistance
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, and work safely on uneven or slippery surfaces
• Open availability, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

## Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, food and beverage, or hospitality environment
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience as a busser, runner, server assistant, barback, or other dining-room support role
• Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude during busy service periods
  
  

## Work Environment / Schedule

This is a physically active, fast-paced restaurant support role. Team members are on their feet throughout the shift and are expected to move quickly between guest areas, service stations, and support areas. The role includes lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, restocking, cleaning, and working around uneven or slippery surfaces. Open availability is required and may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
