#### **Position Overview:**
As a Store Supervisor at Wonderlosity, you are not just a supervisor but a storyteller, a curator of magical experiences, and a guardian of the enchanting world we have created in our stores. Your role is pivotal in weaving the narrative of wonder and excellence that defines us. You are the linchpin that ensures the seamless amalgamation of splendid customer service, operational efficiency, and the nurturing of a team that embodies the spirit of Wonderlosity. You will oversee the keyholders and associates, fostering a collaborative and inspired work environment where magic happens every day.
#### **Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Store Opening and Closing:**
- Open and close the store according to established schedules, ensuring all security and safety procedures are followed.
2. **Leadership & Team Management:**
- Cultivate a vibrant and inclusive team culture that mirrors the wonder and magic of the Wonderlosity brand.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the team of keyholders and associates, inspiring them to achieve excellence in their respective roles.
- Facilitate regular training and development programs to hone the skills and product knowledge of the team.
- Assist in training new associates, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them integrate seamlessly into the Wonderlosity team.
3. **Expert-Level Food and Beverage Preparation:** Ensure entire team prepares and serves drinks and food items to the highest quality standards, delighting customers with a unique culinary experience
4. **Customer Experience:**
- Foster a customer-centric atmosphere, ensuring every visitor embarks on a magical journey through our stores.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, instilling a customer-first approach within the team.
- Resolve customer queries and concerns with grace and poise, embodying the enchanting spirit of the Wonderlosity brand.
- Enhance customer engagement through personalized services and recommendations.
5. **Cash Handling:** Safely handle cash, process transactions, and close out the POS system at the end
of each shift, ensuring accuracy and security.
6. **Store Operations & Inventory Management:**
- Ensure smooth store operations, maintaining an optimal balance between magical ambiance and operational efficiency.
- Work with the inventory control team to monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking, and
communicate inventory needs to the management team.
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed when receiving shipments
- Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard the store's assets.
7. **Product Expertise**:
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of all products and food services available at Wonderlosity, guiding customers in their journey of discovery and selection.
- Train and mentor team members to become product and food service experts, equipped to assist customers in finding products that spark joy and wonder.
8. **Visual Merchandising**:
- Lead the visual merchandising initiatives in line with company guidelines, crafting a store environment that beckons customers into a world of wonder.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain the store's aesthetic appeal, ensuring it remains a beacon of inspiration and curiosity.
9. **Administrative Responsibilities:**
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
10. **Reporting & Communication**:
- Maintain open lines of communication with the Director of Retail Operations, providing regular updates on store performance, team dynamics, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the Wonderlosity experience remains consistent and captivating across all channels.
#### **Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A passion for creating magical and immersive customer experiences.
- Seeks out and welcomes coaching from leaders and peers to improve productivity and customer
experience
- Schedule flexibility that includes evenings, weekends, holidays and non-business hours
