Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced APP to join our Primary Care practice for a creative position supporting primary care colleagues.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable and experienced in providing acute care to adult and pediatric patients in a primary care setting. In addition, they will be comfortable cross-covering other clinicians’ clinical needs when the primary clinician is unavailable.
This is a well-supported position with flexibility and autonomy in daily work.
There is no on-call or patient panel expectation.
For over 40 years, APD has been providing primary care our community and we are proud of our provider longevity and continuity. We move into our Multi-specialty Clinic in 2017 which supports many patient needs under one roof, including outpatient lab, imaging and physical and occupational therapy

Performance Expectation
- Provide in-basket coverage for providers out of the clinic requiring coverage for their absence.
- Provide Face-to-Face services for primary care patients with acute needs approximately half-time – variable expectation based on inbox demand
- Be on-site and available to nursing staff to address urgent triage needs, mainly as they apply to requests for same-day appointments.
