Alibi bar and lounge located in the iconic Liberty Hotel is looking for a Manager to join their team. Floor Manager responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Opening and closing the venue
- Running floor shifts
- Blocking and assigning server sections
- Touching tables and making connections with guests
- Work alongside hosts to maximize business potential
- Running food and interacting with the chef, sous chef, cooks, dishwashers and food runner
- Assisting the bar as needed
- Ensuring capacity limits are adhered to
- Coaching and mentoring the staff
- Hold staff accountable for side work and physical maintenance of the venue
To be successful in this role, you must be familiar with restaurant operations, passionate about service and hospitality, have good knowledge of food and beverage and always be willing to learn more. The position is full time, and you should be familiarity with POSI systems, reservation software, scheduling platforms and social media platforms.
