Customer Requirements Insight and AI Solution Design

• Understand the customer's business scenarios and overall technical architecture, identify high-value large language model use cases in the customer's core business, and co-create with the customer on the key business and technical issues and effectiveness criteria.
• Based on insights into the customer's business objectives and technical constraints, design end-to-end MaaS solutions covering model selection, engineering chain (inference/fine-tuning/RAG/Agent), evaluation system, and go-live path. Ensure that the technical solution is deeply aligned with the customer's business goals to ensure the business value of AI scenario implementation.
• Convert customer needs into robust, scalable, and secure architectural designs that support the efficient deployment and management of AI Models on Alibaba Cloud.
  
  

Pre-Sales Support and Guidance

• Lead and design POC projects for complex use cases (fine-tuning/RAG/multimodal interaction/complex systems based on Agents, etc.).
• Full-chain technical breakthroughs, conduct on-site demonstrations with AI assistance, and solve actual engineering problems encountered by customers in vector database integration, Context Window management, and Prompt engineering optimization.
• Clearly articulate to both business and technical stakeholders the efficiency improvements, cost savings, or revenue growth brought by AI, and establish a scientific consensus on AI effectiveness.
  
  

Technical Strategy Development and Project Win

• Analyze the customer's business and technical situation, integrate Alibaba Cloud's large language model product technology with the customer's business needs, help customers expand new AI use cases and promote technology adoption.
• Demonstrate the advantages of Alibaba Cloud's large language model products and solutions to senior customer executives, convey the technical value and business benefits, lead customers towards AI transformation, influence customer decisions, and facilitate smooth project signing.
• Identify and effectively address technical and project risks during pre-sales planning and solution implementation, collaborate with product R&D and delivery teams to fulfill commitments, achieve revenue conversion, and optimize Alibaba Cloud's performance and customer satisfaction.
  
  

Codification and Empowerment of Technical Assets

• Build and maintain high-quality Demo Code, SDK sample code repositories, and Jupyter Notebooks, enabling customer developers to use them "out of the box."
• Solidify best practices of the Qwen large language model in specific industries (such as code assistance, customer service, content generation) into reusable solution packages or automation scripts.
• Empower and train internal BD teams, ecosystem partners, and customers.
  
  

Product Requirements and Improvement Feedback

• Identify and understand the technical issues and opportunities of Alibaba Cloud's large language models, convey customer requirements and feedback to the product team, influence feature development and future product roadmaps, and maintain the market competitiveness of Alibaba Cloud products.
• Understand the usage and effectiveness of large language models by customers, and push for internal resolution of issues affecting the customer experience, driving improvements in internal product solutions and process systems.
  
  

Job Requirements

• 5 years of experience in technical solutions or software development
• Experience in AI project architecture design/optimization, product deployment testing, and technical issue resolution
• Preferred experience:

• Deep understanding of customer business, identifying and developing business cooperation opportunities.
• Ability to formulate correct product selection strategies, POC testing strategies, bidding strategies, and product configuration strategies.
• Ability to coordinate cross-departmental efforts to achieve goals, effectively communicate with customers, and ensure project success, thereby enhancing organizational capabilities.
• Familiarity with the functional architecture and applicable scenarios of MaaS products, capable of completing the overall design and optimization of AI projects based on customer needs.
• Ability to provide AI solutions covering model fine-tuning, RAG optimization, Agent setup, and large model deployment and inference optimization.
• Ability to formulate product and market expansion strategies to drive business implementation, leading the incubation of AI scenarios from 0 to 1.
• Ability to deliver high-quality solution presentations to mid-to-senior level customers, influencing their technology selection.
• Ability to successfully explain the value points and ROI of AI to non-technical senior executives.
• Ability to independently establish technical trust with the customer's CTO-D and below, influence the customer's strategy, and guide them to make technology choices that are beneficial to Alibaba Cloud.
• Master the product lines and technical routes of 3-5 major competitors.
• Ability to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of competitors in terms of performance, ecosystem, and service.
• Ability to produce customized competitive comparison analysis reports.
• Opportunity Management Collaboration: Participate in opportunity assessment, judge technical feasibility and competitive risks.
• Risk Prediction and Avoidance: Provide early warnings for technical, resource, and schedule risks, and propose alternative solutions.
• Internal Training Support: Participate in sales training, explaining more complex AI MaaS product functions and competitive comparisons.
  
  

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $132,000/year and $216,000/year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
