We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the cash register.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for catering events or special functions as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the bar area.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers or point-of-sale systems such as Aloha POS.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining high-quality service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe drinking environment for guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Ability to work in nightlife settings, including nightclubs or bars, with flexibility in scheduling.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Experience in catering or brewing is a plus but not required.
