Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of trash.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support banquet services by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing tables and serving customers is a plus.
- Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization.
