What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Assistant, Title I position at Alhambra Traditional School?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work as directed by site administration, in alignment with the site integrated action plan, to provide supplemental support to students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. College work desirable, but not required. Basic typing desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with distribution of materials to students.
- Prepare materials as directed by certified staff.
- Assist in maintaining files and other documents.
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and shelving materials.
- Assist students and teachers with materials as directed.
- Supervise students in non-instructional activities.
- Conduct individual and group intervention that aligns to student need.
- Provide hands on assistance to students
- Assist with record keeping.

Assist with inventory and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Attend in service training for continued professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SALARY: Part-Time nine-month position, beginning salary Level 26, employee benefits in accordance with Board Policies.
EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
