Experienced Handyman / Maintenance Technician (Full-Time or Part-Time) (Spokane)

ALH Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced handyman/maintenance technician to maintain our growing portfolio of residential rental properties throughout the Spokane area. We are a small, locally owned company with currently only two other employees. Our core values are intentional communication, integrity, relentless effort, and forward thinking.

This position is primarily focused on apartment and residential unit turnovers and routine maintenance calls. Must have experience completing the following tasks: (i) drywall repair, patching, and matching existing textures; (ii) interior painting, touch-up painting, and complete unit repaints; (iii) flooring removal and installation (LVP, laminate, vinyl, carpet transitions, etc.); (iv) baseboard, casing, trim, and finish carpentry repairs and replacement; (v) appliance removal, installation, and troubleshooting; (vi) cabinet, door, hardware, and lock repairs; (vii) general punch-list items to prepare units for occupancy; (viii) general property clean-up, debris removal, hauling materials, and site clearing; (ix) minor landscaping projects, irrigation and sprinkler adjustments, fence and gate repairs, and exterior property maintenance; and (x) basic plumbing repairs such as toilets, faucets, disposals, and fixture replacement.

Qualifications:
1. 2 years of handyman, maintenance, remodeling, or residential construction experience preferred
2. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot maintenance issues
3. Must own a reliable set of everyday hand and power tools
4. Must own a reliable pickup truck or work vehicle suitable for transporting tools and materials
5. Valid driver's license with a good driving record
6. Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
7. Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
8. Professional appearance and good customer service skills
9. Must pass a criminal background check as a condition of employment due to access to occupied residential properties

Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience.
